Responsibilities
- Satellite operations: Plan and execute operations across all mission phases
- Flight procedures: Develop, validate, and continuously optimize procedures
- Mission control systems: Support the development and validation of systems (Mission Control System, automation, flight dynamics)
- System verification tests: Conduct tests for ground and satellite systems independently
- Anomaly management: Handle contingency and emergency management for satellite operations
- Mission planning and automation: Drive the automation of the overall system
- Telemetry analysis: Perform analysis, trend reporting, and customer reporting on satellite status and KPIs
Qualifications
- Completed Master's or Diplom degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
- Many years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in satellite operations or satellite system development
- Very good knowledge of satellite systems (e.g., AOCS, OBDH, TTC, payload, power, thermal)
- Good programming skills and experience with satellite databases
- Very good data analysis skills
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Willingness for occasional shift work and business trips
- Strong teamwork skills, analytical thinking, and independent working style
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
