Responsibilities
- PCB assembly for aircraft devices using conventional and SMD methods, including coating with surface protection
- Functional testing of populated circuit boards according to test instructions and preparation of test reports
- Fault finding and repair of electrical and electronic circuit boards and components
- Modifying, setting and matching electrical and electronic devices
- Incoming goods inspection of electronic devices
- Measurement and test equipment handled safely
Qualifications
- Completed training as Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, alternatively Electronics Technician for Aviation Systems (Flight Avionics Technician)
- Several years of professional experience in electrical work, electrical or electronic engineering, production, or aerospace
- Mandatory experience in soldering and PCB processing
- Knowledge of PCB assembly according to build documents and functional testing according to test instructions
- Safe use of measurement and test equipment
- Advanced MS Office knowledge
- Fluent English skills (C1 level) and good German skills (B2 level)
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime
- Soldering training required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
