The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.05.2027. Responsibilities
- Software development for the PSTS Eurofighter training solution, including optimization and further development of existing subsystems
- Software design for high-fidelity pilot training systems
- Interface implementation and harmonization with related subsystems such as the Synthetic Environment
- Integration and testing support at simulation devices in close collaboration with subject matter experts
- Software development process contribution across all phases from requirements engineering to subsystem qualification
- Sensor and weapon modeling for radar, electronic warfare, and optical systems
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in IT / information systems
- Experience in software design and software architecture for distributed systems as well as V-model-based development processes
- Knowledge in the areas of sensors, real-time, simulation, or aircraft systems is an advantage
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Comprehensive knowledge of software development and interface definition (C, C++, ADA 95, Python)
- Business fluent English (at least C1)
- Teamwork, communication skills, and independent working style
- Resume in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
