Responsibilities
- Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of software solutions
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with aviation standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) and safety-critical software development practices
- System Integration: Perform mission system integration activities on hardware for various projects
- Testing & Validation: Conduct software testing, validation, and verification to meet aerospace requirements
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in IT / information systems and in the aerospace industry
- Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications
- Knowledge of C/C++ and/or Ada as well as experience with real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks)
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German language skills are a plus
- Self-reliant and systematic way of working, teamwork and communication skills
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
