Responsibilities
- Simulation software development in in-house tools and their extension with new capabilities such as models and interfaces
- Implementation of user and system requirements for simulating systems in military domains (air, land, sea, space, cyber)
- Further development of military simulations in C++ and Python
- Project work in an agile team for simulation-supported study and research projects
- Interface implementation for integrating external hardware and software systems
- Project support in customer presentations, meetings, and proposal creation
- Execution of work assignments considering time, cost, and quality
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Development or a comparable field (at least Bachelor's)
- Initial experience in development and simulation as well as working in software projects
- Practical experience with C++ in a project environment is mandatory
- Good knowledge of Python with detailed functions; knowledge of libraries such as NumPy, OpenCV and Qt for GUI advantageous
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English
- Experience in the aerospace sector and basic knowledge of agile methods (e.g., Scrum) are advantageous
- Teamwork skills, high intrinsic motivation, and quick comprehension
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
