You will develop and test software components for state-of-the-art aircraft cabins and contribute your expertise to the continuous improvement of development processes.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 88,061 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.08.2028. Responsibilities
- Define software requirements and designs based on system specifications
- Create, test, and integrate software components
- Perform software verification and create test cases and procedures
- Plan and execute hardware-software integration tests
- Enhance existing tests by integrating them into a CI/CD framework (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
- Create and manage software lifecycle documentation
- Be responsible for configuration and release management for software artefacts
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of teamwork and software development
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Software Engineering (at least Bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in IT/information systems as well as in system verification and integration
- Basic knowledge of project and process management as well as a good understanding of the DO-178 lifecycle
- Required skills in C/C++
- Experience with Agile and DevOps development practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Github, Jenkins) desirable
- Knowledge of model-based development (e.g., SCADE) advantageous
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German skills are advantageous
- CV in English required
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and teamwork
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
