Responsibilities
- Software design and development for the Test and Simulation Framework (TSF) in C++
- Frontend development of components, software services, and the Desktop Virtual Rig Environment (DTVR)
- Quality assurance through unit and module testing as well as active participation in code reviews
- Technology application of state-of-the-art development methods and active contribution to Virtual Engineering
- Customer support in application development, system testing, and as 2nd-level support for the products
- Process optimization through participation in the continuous improvement process (CIP)
- Team support in concept and technology development for other software teams
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diploma degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in software development, ideally in a safety-critical environment
- Excellent programming skills in C++ and Ada are required
- Experience with network technology, fieldbuses, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Teamwork skills, problem-solving competence, and analytical thinking
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
