Responsibilities


  • Software development in C++17+: Design, implement, and test high-performance applications and libraries
  • Cross-platform solutions: Develop and maintain software compatible with both Unix and Windows environments
  • Build systems: Manage with CMake and streamline development workflows
  • System requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and integrate components
  • Simulation tools: Contribute to the development and maintenance of frameworks
  • gRPC-based communication: Implement and integrate between distributed services
  • System architecture: Participate in discussions and apply sound software design principles
  • Code quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and conduct peer reviews


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (at least Bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of experience in software development with a solid understanding of system architecture and software design principles
  • Experience in simulation development (e.g., physics engines, real-time systems, numerical modeling)
  • Strong proficiency in C++ (C++17 or newer), CMake, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German knowledge is desirable
  • Willingness to continuously learn new technologies
  • Analytical thinking, teamwork, and independent working style
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
