At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will work as a Software Test Engineer to develop the test strategy for complex mission planning systems. You ensure the quality and reliability of software for platforms such as the Eurofighter, Tornado, and A400M, working in an agile, international environment.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 57,075 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.06.2027. Responsibilities
- Software verification planning and execution throughout the entire development lifecycle – from requirements analysis to qualification within an agile framework
- Test procedures definition, authoring, and execution to verify software requirements and ensure quality through regression and performance testing
- Test suite maintenance and expansion to ensure automated and robust requirements, regression, and performance testing
- Compliance assurance with DO-278 standards and application of tools for project control, requirements management, and version control
- Agile methodologies consistent implementation and identification of process and improvement opportunities
- Mission systems verification for flying platforms such as Eurofighter, Tornado, and A400M
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science (at least Bachelor's) or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in software development with a focus on testing
- Solid understanding of software/system testing activities and requirements traceability
- Experience with QF-Test is an advantage
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming languages (Java ecosystem)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of development processes (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- German at least proficient; English business fluent (at least C1)
- Team player, independent working methods, and high quality awareness in an international, multidisciplinary team
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
