For our client Airbus Operations GmbH at the Hamburg-Finkenwerder site, we are looking for an enthusiastic Software Validation Engineer to start full-time on January 5, 2026. In this role, you will help digitize the ground test processes across all Final Assembly Lines, evaluate software solutions, and support the global rollout of new modules – including sites in Hamburg, China, and the US. Tasks

• Provide daily operational support related to Ground Test Software across all Airbus Final Assembly Lines (FAL)
• Analyze requirements and specifications in connection with aircraft testing, technological developments, and strategic changes
• Evaluate and define new software solutions, including alignment with Airbus suppliers
• Participate in the validation of the ESAO project (Ground Tests Assisted by Computer) and support the project leader
• Prepare test dossiers and non-regression test cases
• Execute the rollout of the new ESAO execution module across all Single-Aisle FALs in Hamburg, China, and the United States
• Contribute to test automation and the setup of a new test environment
• Support the further development of the GTSA satellite application, which will be compatible with ESAO’s successor system, GTSI
  

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical discipline
• Professional experience in engineering,. as well as in IT systems and software development, testing & architecture
• Sound knowledge of Unix, Oracle, and SQL
• Good understanding of process management
• Desirable: Experience with Application Lifecycle Management, GPP, Agile / SAFe, V-model, Verification & Validation, test acceptance planning, and software ergonomics
• German at negotiation level (at least C1) and English at an advanced level (at least B2)
• CV must be submitted in English
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union is mandatory (no student visa)
