Tasks
- Carrying out goods classification in accordance with the Foreign Trade Act (AWG), EU Dual-Use Regulation, and US law
- Obtaining goods list information from the BAFA
- Classifying goods according to the Combined Nomenclature and maintaining customs tariff numbers
- Creating and maintaining master data for customs and export control purposes
- Carrying out sanctions list checks and embargo checks
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure compliance-compliant processes
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk, industrial clerk, freight forwarding clerk, or comparable
- Many years of professional experience in customs clearance and logistics administration
- In-depth knowledge of export control (AWG, EU DU Regulation, US regulations)
- Confident use of MS Office (including detailed functions) and SAP
- Very good German skills (at least C1), good English skills (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
