At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder, we are offering a high-impact position in international procurement: Strategic Buyer Logistics & Customs. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end strategic sourcing process for transport and logistics service providers across the Airbus Group – including air, sea, and land freight as well as customs and export control services. Use your procurement expertise to secure global logistics solutions – with strategic focus and commercial strength.

Tasks
- Strategic procurement of transport and logistics services, including customs and export control, for all Airbus entities
- End-to-end management of tenders (CFTs) including contract design, negotiation, and execution
- Supplier management of key 3PL/4PL service providers – from onboarding to performance monitoring and claims handling
- Negotiating contracts to deliver maximum value for Airbus
- Supporting the Market Segment Sourcing Strategy, including market intelligence and supplier evaluations
- Aligning with internal stakeholders during service developments, escalations, or crisis situations
- Driving strategic projectsin sustainability, supply chain resilience, competitiveness, and digital innovation
Qualifications
- University degree (at least Bachelor's level) in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Economics
- At least four years of professional experience in procurement, supplier management, contract management, and logistics
- Basic knowledge of project management
- Confident in working with Google Workspace
- German and French language skills are a plus
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
- CV in English required
