Tasks
- Take end-to-end ownership of procurement for a portfolio of strategic transport and logistics service providers across the Airbus Group, including services related to customs and export control
- Support the roll-out of the Transport & Logistics (Market Segment) sourcing strategy and consistently adhere to the related policies and processes
- Perform market intelligence, assess markets and leverage insights for category strategy development
- Plan, manage and evaluate call-for-tenders, including contract drafting and commercial negotiations to deliver best-in-class purchasing solutions
- Support cross-functional and cross-divisional teams throughout the full contract lifecycle: performance monitoring, continuous improvement, claim management and leading commercial settlements
- Build, expand and actively maintain long-term relationships with 3PL/4PL transport and logistics service providers to position Airbus as a preferred customer
- Ensure stakeholder management across all phases of provider engagement—especially during service changes and crisis situations, working in close collaboration with the providers
- Support projects on sustainability, supply chain resilience, competitiveness, digitalisation and innovation in line with Airbus roadmaps
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain / Logistics or Economics
- Extensive professional experience in procurement, supplier management, logistics and contract management
- Basic knowledge of project management
- Confident use of Google Workspace
- English fluent in negotiations (min. C1); German and French are an advantage
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
