Responsibilities
- Bid Preparation: Participation in the dynamic customer bid phase and analysis of customer needs for cabin upgrade projects
- Request Management: Execution of supplier requests for quotation (RFQ) and follow-up on offers according to agreed timelines
- Commercial Negotiation: First line of commercial negotiation with suppliers to secure Airbus competitiveness
- Approval Process: Accountability for the RFQ offer approval process
- Process Optimization: Support for continuous process improvement together with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Contract Management: Contribution to the updating of supplier contracts to improve competitive positioning
- Network Collaboration: Close collaboration within a multi-functional network of customer support, engineering, and supply chain
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in a technical field, business administration, or international management (at least Bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in procurement and supplier management
- Experience in customer service advantageous
- Proficient use of SAP (in-depth application knowledge) and Google Workspace
- Good knowledge of project and process management
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German and/or French advantageous
- Teamwork, adaptability, and an independent way of working in a dynamic environment
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
