Tasks
- Create and evaluate finite element (FE) models based on component geometries
- Perform weight calculations and determine appropriate materials
- Optimize components for strength and weight efficiency
- Conduct preliminary checks and perform static verification
- Evaluate specifications, deviations, and change requests
- Specify, execute, and analyze material and component tests
- Prepare and document compliancefor structural and weight-related requirements
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, aerospace engineering, or mechanical engineering
- Several years of professional experience in aircraft construction, particularly in calculation and FEM verification
- Experience with fiber composites and lightweight construction principles
- Good knowledge of project, process, and change management as well as total quality management (problem-solving methods)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and FEM tools such as Patran, Nastran, Hyperworks, or ANSYS
- Good German and English skills (at least C1 in each)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
- Resume in English required
