Tasks
- Assembly, integration and modification of mechanical components and structures in the space sector
- Execution of structural repairs on satellite components
- Integration of complex assemblies under cleanroom conditions (ISO8 standard)
- Bonding of structural parts and installation of test instrumentation
- Performing Level 1 quality inspections and precise machining of joining areas
- Installation of bearings and encoders as well as operation of measuring equipment
- Preparation, execution and documentation of integration procedures
- Support of international test campaigns and compliance with all safety regulations
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a precision mechanic or mechanic, with additional qualification as a technician or certified business administrator
- Several years of professional experience in the manufacturing, integration or production of technical systems
- Proven experience in the assembly and integration of complex components
- Confident use of the Google Suite
- Fluent German language skills (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips, both domestically and internationally
- A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visa not sufficient) is mandatory
