Tasks

  • Assembly, integration and modification of mechanical components and structures in the space sector
  • Execution of structural repairs on satellite components
  • Integration of complex assemblies under cleanroom conditions (ISO8 standard)
  • Bonding of structural parts and installation of test instrumentation
  • Performing Level 1 quality inspections and precise machining of joining areas
  • Installation of bearings and encoders as well as operation of measuring equipment
  • Preparation, execution and documentation of integration procedures
  • Support of international test campaigns and compliance with all safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a precision mechanic or mechanic, with additional qualification as a technician or certified business administrator
  • Several years of professional experience in the manufacturing, integration or production of technical systems
  • Proven experience in the assembly and integration of complex components
  • Confident use of the Google Suite
  • Fluent German language skills (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips, both domestically and internationally
  • A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visa not sufficient) is mandatory
