Tasks
- Assembly of components (aircraft fuselage parts) in semi-automated series production in accordance with applicable aviation standards
- Pre-assembly of individual parts and sub-assemblies, including drilling, countersinking and reaming
- Application of various joining techniques such as riveting, screwing and gluing
- Processing of different types of rivets such as universal rivets, Hi-Lite, Hi-Lok and blind rivets
- Professional application and processing of sealing compounds
- Carrying out reworking, repairs and quality-assured improvements
- Documentation of work results in compliance with quality guidelines
- Working in a well-coordinated team with clearly structured processes and a high degree of personal responsibility
Qualifications
- Successfully completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, motor vehicle mechanic, plant mechanic, metalworker, bodywork mechanic, carpenter, locksmith or similar
- Initial professional experience in manufacturing, assembly or metal construction
- Confident use of MS Office
- Business fluent German (at least C1), basic knowledge of English (at least B2)
- Willingness to work shifts
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is essential
