Responsibilities


  • Procurement Strategy: Plan and implement sourcing activities for the bearings and metallic items market
  • Tendering & Contract Negotiation: Manage tendering processes and negotiate contracts with optimal conditions
  • Supplier Management: Monitor contracts throughout innovation, development, serial, and support phases to ensure supplier performance
  • Cost Optimization: Minimize total cost of ownership while maximizing customer value
  • Project Coordination: Support multifunctional and multidisciplinary teams throughout all contract lifecycle phases
  • Risk Management: Manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers and proactively address risks in ongoing projects


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain/Logistics (at least Bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of professional experience in procurement and supplier management
  • Experience in the aerospace industry as well as in contract and supply chain management
  • Proficient use of MS-Excel, MS-Word, and Google Workspace
  • Good knowledge of project and process management
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 2x per year within Europe)
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style as well as strong communication skills
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
