We are looking for a Supply Chain Logistics Managerfor our customer Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg. In your future position you will be responsible for the assembly and the delivery of Airbus material kits worldwide to satisfy internal and external customer demands.

Task description

  • Ensuring that the lead logistic provider (LLP) performs and delivers on time, on quality and on costs in line with the requirements of the customers and other Airbus stakeholders
  • Planning and assessing volumes growths and new business requirements
  • Ensuring the correct sizing of the LLP in terms of overall capacity, productivity and surface availability
  • Operational interface between the Airbus stakeholders and the LLP, being the first level of escalation in case it is required
  • Developing and monitoring logistic KPI´s
  • Addressing performance issues to the LLP and taking accountability for the mitigation of those issues
  • Project management activities for continuous improvements and strategic initiatives as well as for special projects which require dedicated attention
  • Supporting and collaborating on processes developments and improvements

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, industrial engineering or in the field of supply chain/logistics
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in supply chain management
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in customer service and production planning and production control
  • Good experience in capacity planning and in logistic processes
  • Good user knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Fluent command in German and English
  • German and English CV´s are required
