At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Stade, you will take on the role of Supply Chain Manager (initially limited until June 2027) and be responsible for managing production supply: you will identify bottlenecks early on, balance orders and inventories, and ensure commitment through clear communication – both internally and externally. Tasks
- Monitoring and controlling material flows and inventory levels to ensure production supply
- Coordinating with suppliers on orders, delivery times, and quality standards
- Actively addressing delivery bottlenecks and implementing effective countermeasures to minimize interruptions
- Maintaining, optimizing, and evaluating supplier relationships, including supplier evaluations
- Creating and analyzing delivery performance reports and deriving improvements
- Coordinating with purchasing, production, and logistics for demand planning and prioritization
- Collaborating on projects for process optimization and digitalization in the supply chain (e.g., Skywise)
Qualifications
- Completed degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or supply chain/logistics (at least a bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in supply chain/logistics
- Initial professional experience in scheduling/material procurement and supplier management
- In-depth application knowledge of SAP and experience with Google Workspace
- Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1 in each)
- Willingness to travel approx. once a month (Europe-wide)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
