For our client Lufthansa Technik AG, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager at the Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel location. In this central role, you ensure the operational material supply in the engine sector, analyze bottlenecks, and proactively develop solutions – so that every part is in the right place at the right time.

Responsibilities
- Operational material supply in the engine sector, ensuring and controlling availability
- Material sources and coverage: Review and create detailed planning for event supply
- Bottleneck management: Independently develop alternatives considering technical, regulatory, and commercial aspects
- Escalation processes: Initiate for critical parts and coordinate necessary measures
- Material bookings: Execute and organize exchange and scrap replacement options
- Optimization potential: Identify and implement digitalization measures
- Interface coordination with areas such as fulfillment, material planning, and procurement
Qualifications
- Completed degree (Master's, Bachelor's, FH, Diplom) in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable subject
- Several years of professional experience in supply chain management, ideally in the aviation industry
- Very good IT skills in MS Office, SAP, and SAP BW; knowledge of Power BI and Data Analytics is an advantage
- Very good English skills (at least B2)
- Very good disposition and planning skills, high organizational talent, and very good analytical abilities
- Teamwork skills, very good communication skills, and pronounced initiative
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
