At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will take on the role of Supply Chain & Quality Manager, strategically and operationally steering supplier performance in the Doors area for Airbus Commercial programs. Responsibilities
- Supplier Management: Monitoring, audits, and strategic development of suppliers in the Doors area
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring compliance with airworthiness requirements and responsibility for supplier quality
- Process Control: Effective control of supplier activities and coordination of all involved stakeholders
- Project Management: Initiating and steering improvement projects to enhance supplier quality performance
- Performance Monitoring: Presenting operational supplier performance using KPIs and evaluations
- Deviation Management: Handling Quality Survey Reports (QSRs) and Safety Related Items (SARIs), including root cause analysis
- Transfer Management: Monitoring and steering work transfers (Transfer of Work) between suppliers and Airbus
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Quality (at least Bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in procurement, supplier management, quality management, and supply chain
- Experience in the aerospace industry, ideally at Airbus, is required
- Proficient use of SAP and Google Workspace
- Good knowledge of project management, risk management, and total quality management (problem-solving methods)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel worldwide (approximately once per quarter)
- Strong teamwork skills, communication strength, and analytical thinking
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
