You will work at the interface of system design and software development for manned and unmanned aerial platforms – from the Eurodrone to the FCAS Remote Carrier. The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.06.2027. Responsibilities


  • System design for Flight Management Systems (FMS) and Flight Guidance functions
  • Function development and trajectory generation for manned and unmanned aerial vehicles
  • Implementation of developed functions in a simulation environment
  • Project work in an international team for civil and military applications
  • Development environment with a focus on automatic and autonomous flight operations


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable subject (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in aerospace and IT/information systems
  • Solid experience with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs/RPAS)
  • Experience with the programming languages Python or C++ is mandatory
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German knowledge is an advantage
  • Team player, high degree of motivation and willingness to work in an international environment
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
