Responsibilities


  • Maintainability analyses to review accessibility and feasibility of maintenance tasks on helicopters
  • Ergonomics and human factors analyses to reduce maintenance errors and risks for personnel and equipment
  • Influencing system design and integration to ensure compliance with maintenance guidelines
  • Developing alternative solutions to improve maintenance operations and minimize error risks
  • Contributing to maintenance procedures and their validation through demonstration on the helicopter
  • Maintenance time analyses to evaluate different system designs regarding resulting maintenance effort
  • Investigating serious incidents related to maintenance
  • Creating technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering (at least Bachelor's) or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on aviation technology
  • Several years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, ideally in the field of maintenance or servicing of aircraft
  • Knowledge of helicopter systems and in the field of ergonomics is an advantage
  • Advanced application knowledge of Catia V5
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German or French language skills are a plus
  • CV in English required
  • Independent and organized way of working, sense of responsibility, very good communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
