At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will be responsible as a Systems Engineer Simulator Integration for the integration and maintenance of software components in the Pilot Synthetic Training System (PSTS). You will work in the System Engineering and Verification Team and contribute significantly to the successful implementation of the Eurofighter P3E project.

Responsibilities


  • System test definition for relevant hardware/software simulation items in the P3E project, including preparation and documentation
  • Installation and maintenance of all PSTS training devices
  • Test cases for various training devices, taking into account L1 requirements
  • Verification of Level 1 requirements based on written test stories
  • Design changes resulting from hardware modifications, including implementation and testing
  • Hardware/software system tests, including performance and documentation of results
  • Acceptance tests and qualification activities with service providers and the final customer
  • Technical and design issues for simulation items, ensuring resolution and reporting status to management


Qualifications

  • Completed Master's or Diplom degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Aerospace
  • Several years of experience in system integration processes and testing activities
  • Knowledge of system verification and qualification as well as requirements traceability
  • Proficient use of MS Office; knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Python, Perl, ADA) and operating systems (Windows, Linux) is an advantage
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German knowledge is desirable
  • Willingness to work in a multicultural environment and ability to respond to rapidly changing priorities
  • Teamwork, communication skills, and analytical thinking
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
