Responsibilities


  • Automatic Flight Control Systems (AFCS) for helicopters and UAVs: develop, integrate, and prepare for certification
  • Verification and Validation: actively support and accompany HELIONIX autopilot systems
  • Simulation models and software tools: create, further develop, and maintain for testing and validation tasks
  • System and integration tests: analyze, plan, execute, and evaluate
  • Closed-loop simulation environments: help shape them with the integration of real hardware components
  • Equipment engineering and series support: assist with autopilot systems and their installation devices
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration: coordinate with development, integration, and test teams
  • Method and process optimization: drive forward to increase efficiency and quality


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in development, ideally in aerospace and in research and development
  • Experience in dealing with simulation environments, test systems, or verification and validation processes
  • In-depth application knowledge of Unix, Python, SCADE, and C/C++
  • Proficient German (at least B2) and business fluent English (at least C1); French skills are an advantage
  • Basic understanding of the structure and functionality of simulators
  • Analytical and structured way of working, teamwork and communication skills in an interdisciplinary environment
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
