Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with Standard Work in Progress (SWIP), planning targets, and deadlines
- Responsibility for cycle time, deriving and implementing measures to achieve goals according to the Least Waste Way (LWW)
- Monitoring, analyzing, and managing relevant KPIs, including initiating corrective actions
- Managing team turnarounds and Real-Time Problem Resolution (RTPR) during ongoing operations
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of aircraft maintenance teams, including scheduling and shift planning
- Organizing onboarding and training in accordance with the skill matrix, as well as employee development and evaluation
- Close coordination with production, engineering, planning, and related departments, including escalation management (e.g., tier meetings)
- Implementing and helping to shape continuous improvement, Kaizen, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Lean methods (e.g., 5S)
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training or higher degree in an aviation-related field
- Several years of professional experience in aviation technology
- Initial leadership experience
- Proficiency in common IT systems
- Business fluency in German and English (minimum C1 level in each)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
