For our client Collins Aerospace, we are looking for a Team Lead Aircraft Mechanics at the Hamburg site. In this key role, you will take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of aircraft mechanics and contribute significantly to quality and efficiency in the production process.

Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Technical and disciplinary leadership of teams in aircraft mechanics
- Production Control: Ensuring compliance with planning specifications, deadlines, and standard processes
- Performance Management: Monitoring and controlling relevant KPIs and deriving optimization measures
- Staff Planning: Creating deployment and shift schedules for efficient personnel utilization
- Employee Development: Promoting, assessing, and organizing training for your teams
- Interface Management: Close collaboration with production, engineering, and planning
- Process Optimization: Implementation of continuous improvement measures and lean methods
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring defined quality, safety, and process requirements
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training or higher qualification in an aviation-related profession
- Several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in aviation technology
- Initial leadership experience and enjoyment in developing teams
- Good knowledge of MS Office and common IT systems
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and very good English skills (at least B2)
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong organizational and communication skills as well as a high sense of responsibility
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
