For our client Collins Aerospace, we are looking for a Team Lead Aircraft Mechanics at the Hamburg site. In this key role, you will take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of aircraft mechanics and contribute significantly to quality and efficiency in the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Technical and disciplinary leadership of teams in aircraft mechanics
  • Production Control: Ensuring compliance with planning specifications, deadlines, and standard processes
  • Performance Management: Monitoring and controlling relevant KPIs and deriving optimization measures
  • Staff Planning: Creating deployment and shift schedules for efficient personnel utilization
  • Employee Development: Promoting, assessing, and organizing training for your teams
  • Interface Management: Close collaboration with production, engineering, and planning
  • Process Optimization: Implementation of continuous improvement measures and lean methods
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring defined quality, safety, and process requirements


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training or higher qualification in an aviation-related profession
  • Several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in aviation technology
  • Initial leadership experience and enjoyment in developing teams
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and common IT systems
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and very good English skills (at least B2)
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Strong organizational and communication skills as well as a high sense of responsibility
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
