We are looking for you as a Technical Documentation Test Equipment Administrator for Lufthansa Technik AG at its Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel location. You will ensure that test and measurement equipment is properly managed in the system, calibrated on time, and fully documented – a task that has a direct impact on safety and compliance in maintenance. Tasks
- Create and maintain test and measurement equipment in the SAP system (BM numbers, material master data, individual tracking, maintenance instructions)
- Test equipment management – checking documentation on receipt, evaluating quality, supplementing equipment data
- Monitoring calibration and test due dates (schedule and due date lists, SAP notification lists) and ensuring tests are carried out on time
- Maintaining equipment data (location, cost centers, testing center)
- Process fault reports, invalidate test labels, remove defective test equipment, and create SAP documentation
- Print and manage test labels, systematically file calibration certificates and test reports
- Support test equipment calibrators and users and advise them on PMV processes and structuring
Qualifications
- Completed technical training, e.g., mechatronics, measurement technology, aviation technology, or materials testing, or commercial training with a technical focus
- Several years of professional experience in technical documentation, ideally in the field of testing or measuring equipment
- Understanding of quality, testing, and calibration processes in technical environments as well as confident handling of standards, calibration certificates, and technical documentation
- Good knowledge of SAP (equipment management) or willingness to undergo in-depth training
- Business fluent English (at least C1) and good German skills (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
