Responsibilities
- Disruption management in production: Identification, processing, and tracking of non-conformities as well as reporting of process disturbances
- Continuous improvement (LEAN): Problem analysis, escalation to specialist departments, and suggestions for optimizations in time, quality, and cost
- Tool and fixture support: Creation of specifications for new or modified jigs & tools as well as support for repair requests
- Work order control: Prioritization of serial and revised orders as well as marking of blocked orders for production pace control (PPC)
- Department coordination: Support for quality, logistics, and EHS topics (Environment, Health, Safety) directly on the shop floor
- External contractor management: On-site supervision of external service providers and monitoring of occupational safety regulations
Qualifications
- Completed technical education as a technician / technical business manager or equivalent in aircraft construction, engineering, or a related technical field
- Several years of professional experience in aircraft construction
- Initial experience in the areas of jigs & tools as well as manufacturing engineering
- Confident use of SAP and Google Workspace
- Basic knowledge of Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and good knowledge of Lean Management
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Analytical mindset, structured and independent way of working, as well as strong communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
