Tasks

• Preparation of technical test specifications and proposals in close coordination with development, prototype manufacturing and aviation authorities (civil and military)
• Execution and documentation of test campaigns for the analysis and verification of aircraft systems
• Performance of static load tests, fatigue tests,environmental tests, vibration tests and functional tests
• Evaluation of measurement data and preparation of final test reports
• Management of external test service providers: specification, commissioning, monitoring
• Development of test methods and tools – including automation using AI-based technologies
• Support in product development and certification processes

Qualifications

• Completed degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study
• Extensive professional experience in the fields of aerospace engineering, product development, testing, engineering and procurement (including supplier management)
• Proven knowledge of aircraft systems (airframe, dynamic system, fuel system), laboratory technologies, jigs & tools and IT
• Familiarity with measurement and control technology, special machinery and data processing
• Experience in fatigue analysis, vibration testing, material testing and technical documentation
• Confident in leadership roles, project management, occupational safety and change management
• Proficient German skills (at least B2), business fluent English skills (at least C1), French skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and Europe
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
