Responsibilities
- Research and Development on thermoplastic materials, manufacturing processes, and their structural applications in aerospace
- Experimental Campaigns design, execute, and analyze to characterize material properties and processes
- Project Coordination with internal teams (design, stress, manufacturing) and external partners such as universities and suppliers
- Technology Monitoring of the latest developments in thermoplastics and their processing technologies
- Technical Reports and Presentations prepare with research findings and recommendations
- Technology Transfer support from research to industrial series application
- Intellectual Property contribute to development through patent applications and technical disclosures
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in engineering, a technical field, or composites (at least Bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in research and development as well as manufacturing engineering
- Previous experience with thermoplastic materials is required
- Knowledge of material testing and characterization (e.g., DMA, DSC, FTIR, mechanical testing)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- CV in English language required
- Willingness to travel regularly (approximately every two weeks within Europe, mainly Bremen and Stade)
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving competence, and teamwork
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
