Tasks
- Design of complex tooling and assembly fixtures for helicopters and the doors area using CATIA V5
- Creation of concepts, specifications and technical requirements for fixtures and equipment to be sourced externally
- Project planning and procurement support for manufacturing equipment, including technical clarifications
- Coordination and supervision of external design service providers and suppliers as the technical interface
- Execution of acceptance, validation and handover of fixtures into operations (internal / external)
- Analysis and evaluation of fixture and tool requirements, including calculations, consulting and design-to-cost trade-offs
- Definition and further development of standards for various manufacturing concepts
- Technical evaluation and selection of suppliers, follow-up of manufacturing acceptances, quality topics and market analyses
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Industrial Engineering; alternatively a qualification as a Technician / Specialist in electrical engineering or aircraft avionics
- Extensive professional experience across engineering, design, manufacturing/production, project management, IT, customer service, aerospace, supply chain and technical documentation/technical administration
- Extensive experience in the design of fixtures and tools for composite manufacturing, plus knowledge of composite part production and hands-on workshop/manufacturing processes
- Proven experience with CATIA V5 and SAP, as well as confident use of Microsoft Office
- German fluent (min. C1) and English advanced (min. B2)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
