The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.07.2027. Responsibilities
- Mass Properties Support for the Eurofighter: Processing customer inquiries and preparing and evaluating aircraft weighings
- Data Calculation of mass, volume, surface area, and center of gravity using CATIA V5 analysis functions
- Documentation of mass-relevant data in various databases and verification of calculated component masses
- Modification Evaluation based on installation and removal drawings for upgrades
- Component Studies and evaluation of RFAs (Request for Action) and modifications
- On-site Support for aircraft weighings at the customer's site after appropriate training
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering (at least Master's/Diploma) or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience (3-5 years) in mass properties, aircraft design, structural analysis, MDO, or loads
- Knowledge of standardization, drawing processes, and bills of materials (BoM)
- Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CATIA V5
- Knowledge or ability to learn VPM and Teamcenter (PDM system)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Meticulous, independent, and goal-oriented working style as well as strong teamwork skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
