Job Profile: Accountant at ARTS Group
As an accountant at ARTS Group, you are responsible for the correct recording, review, and evaluation of financial transactions. You handle accounts receivable and accounts payable, manage the general ledger, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (e.g., under HGB; for customer projects also IFRS), support budget planning, and ensure compliance in collaboration with tax, controlling, and audit. You work with common ERP systems such as SAP (FI/CO), DATEV, or comparable solutions and translate data into reliable reports for management and projects.
The working environment is characterized by plannable processes, defined documentation,
and high responsibility. Especially in aerospace, process reliability, traceability, and
auditability are standard—even in commercial functions. Our teams follow certified
procedures and consistently meet quality requirements.
What makes the role at ARTS special: you are not an isolated back office. You are a partner
to the operational areas—from production and maintenance to project business. You
accompany projects throughout their lifecycle, ensure clean cost center and project
reporting, and support steering with clear numbers.

Your Deployment Options
ARTS Group is active in Germany, France, and Dubai. We fill accountant jobs in our internal
teams as well as directly with customers in aerospace: OEMs, MROs, and specialized
suppliers. Possible models include permanent positions, project-based assignments,
and—depending on requirements—flexible models within temporary staffing or work/service
contracts. This way we find the combination of stability and variety that fits your profile.

With increasing experience come more complex tasks: general ledger, financial
statements, intercompany, project steering.

Additional certifications, software competence (e.g., SAP), and English skills
measurably improve the profile.
Region
- Metropolitan regions and economically strong locations often pay more but offset higher living costs.
Company Size and Industry
- In larger organizations, finance structures are more complex, responsibilities broader, and salary ranges higher.
Negotiation
- Clear results, reliable KPIs, and precision in argumentation noticeably improve offers.
Benchmark Values
- Average salaries are often around 45,000 euros gross per year.
- Entry-level salaries are often between 30,000 and 40,000 euros, depending on region and company environment.
