Job Description – Aircraft Electrician at ARTS Group
Aircraft electricians are responsible for the installation, inspection, and maintenance of complex electronic systems in aircraft. They ensure that all electrical components function reliably under all conditions. Modern aircraft can contain up to 500 kilometers of wiring – correct routing and connection of these cables are among the most important tasks.
At ARTS Group, aircraft electricians use diagnostic systems and test software to accurately identify faults. They replace defective components, install power, data, and signal lines, and configure new systems like radar, autopilot, or sensor units. Their responsibilities also include replacing entire cable harnesses.
Because these are safety-relevant tasks, strict quality and safety standards apply. Our aircraft electricians work in accordance with EASA regulations and – depending on qualification – may hold CAT A or CAT B licenses, which authorize them to release aviation equipment after completing work.
What makes the job at ARTS Group unique: you’re not confined to a single task but take responsibility across multiple phases of an aircraft’s lifecycle – from production to maintenance to modification. You benefit from the expertise of a company with more than 25 years of experience in the aviation industry.

Possible Areas of Deployment
As an aircraft electrician, ARTS Group offers you a wide range of projects with leading
OEMs and MRO companies. Our employees are active in both civil and military aviation –
