FAQs – Industrial Mechanic Jobs

You assemble, set up, test, and maintain machines and systems—from initial assembly to modifications and optimization during ongoing operations. This includes adjusting assemblies, measuring tolerances, troubleshooting with testing and measuring equipment, replacing components, and ramp-up after maintenance. You work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, document your steps clearly, and comply with quality and safety requirements according to ISO 9001 and EN 9100. Depending on the project, you also support process optimization, quality assurance, and production-adjacent projects at OEMs, MROs, and their suppliers.

As an Industrial Mechanic, you work in assembly, maintenance, retrofit, or optimization—in series production, special-purpose machine building, or with technically demanding industrial customers. Typical deployments take place at OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers, and MROs. We have a strong presence in Germany and are active internationally, with locations including France and Dubai. Assignments take place directly at the customer’s site or in integrated ARTS teams—locally rooted, internationally connected.

Completed training (industrial mechanics, industrial mechatronics, mechatronics, or a comparable metalworking trade) forms the basis for your deployment at ARTS Group. Important: experience reading technical drawings, confident handling of hand and measuring tools, knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics, clean documentation, and willingness to work shifts. German fluent, English basic. Bonus points: basic knowledge of CNC/system technology, lean/quality methods, and occupational safety. If something is missing, we develop it with you.

We combine more than 25 years of aerospace experience with certified processes and flexible workforce solutions—from targeted support to full project takeovers. Our teams work embedded in customer processes, nationally and internationally. This ensures plannable assignments, clean workflows, and technically demanding projects across the entire system and product lifecycle.

We offer tailored learning and development programs: technical training, quality and method training (e.g., measurement systems, 8D/problem solving), as well as personal development and leadership topics. Training takes place internally and with external partners and is aligned with project requirements and industry regulations and standards.

Our application process is simple and transparent. You apply online or by email. We match your profile with current and planned projects and provide prompt feedback. This is followed by a technical interview, clarification of deployment parameters (location, shifts, start date), and a transparent offer. All steps are efficient, traceable, and geared toward rapid deployment.

ARTS Group offers a variety of contract models. We offer permanent employment, fixed-term assignments, employee leasing (ANÜ), project-based work packages, and—depending on profile and project—freelancer contracting and international assignments. All processes are certified according to ISO 9001 and EN 9100.
