The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 67,458 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.12.2028. Responsibilities
- Cluster Operations: Build, maintain, and scale highly available Kubernetes clusters
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize automated GitOps pipelines
- Infrastructure as Code: Automate environment configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
- Monitoring Systems: Operate proactive system monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and other tools
- DevSecOps: Integrate security and compliance checks into the pipeline and establish Zero Trust architectures
- Test Strategy: Develop comprehensive test frameworks for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Cloud-Native Technologies: Utilize Docker, Linux containers, and MLOps principles for AI applications
- Microservices: Understand and implement modern architectures such as microservices and cloud-native applications
Qualifications
- Completed degree in a comparable field, electrical engineering, or computer science (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in IT/information systems
- Detailed specialist knowledge in Unix and Python
- Knowledge in Kubernetes (cluster management, Helm, RBAC, operator models) required
- Experience with containerization, CI/CD, and GitOps tools (e.g., GitLab or Jenkins) required
- Business fluent German (at least C1); Proficient English (at least B2)
- Independent working style, teamwork, and communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
