Tasks
- Development and design of complex fixtures, components, and assemblies for machining aircraft components made of metal or composite materials
- Creation of production-ready drawings, parts lists, and technical documentation
- Planning, procurement, commissioning, and modification of operating resources and special fixtures
- Analysis and further development of existing systems to optimize manufacturing processes
- Approval and acceptance of designs and manufactured fixtures
- Collaboration on national and international projects for equipping production facilities
- Advising internal departments on operating resources and fixture technology
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
- Initial professional experience in fixture design required
- Knowledge of product and operational safety (e.g., Machinery Directive, Product Safety Act, Industrial Safety Regulation)
- Confident use of CAD software, ideally SolidWorks
- Good general IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
- Good German and English skills (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
