Responsibilities


  • Safety assessments for military aircraft and systems, including Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA) and System Safety Assessment (SSA)
  • Risk analyses according to applicable guidelines and standards to support continuous aircraft development and certification
  • Common-cause analyses such as Particular Risk Analysis (PRA), Zonal Safety Analysis (ZSA), and Common Mode Analysis (CMA)
  • Safety requirements and evidence (tests, simulations, analyses) managed and generated, coordinating with other technical domains
  • Interface management with internal and external stakeholders such as Chief Engineering, project management, design teams, aviation authorities, and suppliers
  • Supplier data regarding safety and reliability reviewed, approved, and applied


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Aerospace Engineering (at least Master's/Diploma) or in a physical science or similar discipline
  • At least several years of experience in systems engineering with an interface to safety assessment, airworthiness, and certification
  • Knowledge and understanding of aircraft systems is mandatory
  • Experience with safety tools such as Isograph FaultTree+ or Reliability Workbench
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German knowledge is desired
  • CV required in English
  • Analytical thinking, structured approach to work, and strong communication skills
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
