Responsibilities
- Safety assessments for military aircraft and systems, including Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA) and System Safety Assessment (SSA)
- Risk analyses according to applicable guidelines and standards to support continuous aircraft development and certification
- Common-cause analyses such as Particular Risk Analysis (PRA), Zonal Safety Analysis (ZSA), and Common Mode Analysis (CMA)
- Safety requirements and evidence (tests, simulations, analyses) managed and generated, coordinating with other technical domains
- Interface management with internal and external stakeholders such as Chief Engineering, project management, design teams, aviation authorities, and suppliers
- Supplier data regarding safety and reliability reviewed, approved, and applied
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Aerospace Engineering (at least Master's/Diploma) or in a physical science or similar discipline
- At least several years of experience in systems engineering with an interface to safety assessment, airworthiness, and certification
- Knowledge and understanding of aircraft systems is mandatory
- Experience with safety tools such as Isograph FaultTree+ or Reliability Workbench
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German knowledge is desired
- CV required in English
- Analytical thinking, structured approach to work, and strong communication skills
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
