We are currently looking for an experienced Aircraft Interior Upholsterer / Trimmer to join Lufthansa Technik AG in Hamburg, supporting premium cabin outfitting for VIP and Special Mission aircraft. You can expect a highly motivated team, a modern aviation work environment, and varied assignments with a strong focus on quality.

Tasks
- Perform and document high-quality upholstery and trimming work on VIP aircraft and cabin components
- Sew and process leather, foam and textiles for seat cushions, sofas, mattresses or curtains
- Bond materials and perform overlocking (machine edging of carpet borders)
- Cut and install carpets, films and non-textile floor coverings (NTFs)
- Carry out repairs on cargo nets, roller blinds, bassinets and similar cabin elements
- Execute all tasks in compliance with aviation regulations, environmental and safety standards [2]
- Make independent, solution-oriented decisions to complete assigned work efficiently, correctly and on time
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools, machines and equipment in daily operation
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an upholsterer or interior decorator, or a comparable manual trade qualification
- Several years of work experience as an upholsterer or interior decorator, ideally in the aviation industry
- Confident handling of leather, foam materials and technical drawings
- Basic proficiency in IT systems
- Good knowledge of accident prevention regulations and environmental standards
- Advanced English skills (minimum level B1 – intermediate usage)
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift model and pursue job-related training
- A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visas are not accepted)
