The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 69,809 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.12.2027. Responsibilities


  • Technical operational responsibility for the entire network infrastructure in Germany, ensuring stable, high-quality operations based on ITIL
  • IT service provider management, steering and monitoring their performance according to contractually defined KPIs and SLAs
  • Project coordination with other IT departments for the implementation of new solutions requiring network infrastructure
  • Cost planning and control for the network infrastructure, including continuous development and improvement
  • Root cause analysis support for disruptions, contributing to rapid resolution
  • Authorization management for the highest-level administrative accesses and permissions within your area of responsibility


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in IT / information systems
  • Experience in operating IT infrastructure solutions or as an IT project manager in the field of network infrastructures
  • In-depth knowledge of WAN, VPN and Encryption Services (Client VPN and Genua Site-2-Site Solutions) as well as technologies: LAN, WAN, WiFi, DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management)
  • Experience with Cisco Switches & Routers, Cisco Wireless Lan Controller & Access Points, and Efficient IP is desirable
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, especially the Service Operations phase
  • Cisco certifications are advantageous
  • Fluency in German and Englisch (min C1)
  • Analytical thinking, assertiveness, initiative, teamwork, and flexibility
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
