For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for a Systems Engineer Hardware Development Aviation at the Taufkirchen site near Munich. In a highly specialized environment, you will develop system concepts for modular self-protection systems and accompany them throughout the entire product life cycle – from requirements analysis to integration and acceptance.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 87,466 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.06.2027. Responsibilities
- System analysis and concept development for modular self-protection systems
- Requirements management: Analyze customer requirements and define system requirements
- Hardware and embedded design by providing technical support to development departments
- System design of components and interfaces at system and embedded level
- Qualification and verification by defining test concepts and procedures
- Technical documentation for development, product, and verification
- Integration and testing at subsystem and system level
- Project responsibility for work packages regarding time, cost, and quality
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in hardware development, especially in power supply design, processor boards, and I/O interfaces
- Relevant experience in systems engineering, system modeling, and in one of the following areas: electrical assemblies, signal processing, verification, or test concept development
- In-depth knowledge of aviation standards and regulations (e.g., DO-160, DO-254) and their certification processes
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- High level of initiative, analytical and structured working methods, as well as very good communication and teamwork skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
