At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will manage the financing and administration of funded research and technology projects as a Financial Controller for Grant-Funded Projects. You combine financial expertise with a deep understanding of funding guidelines and work closely with project managers and funding bodies.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 88,061 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.12.2026. Responsibilities
- Funding Project Management: Administer funded Research & Technology projects and ensure compliance with all funding guidelines
- Application Management: Prepare and submit applications for R&T funding and forecast project requirements with research project managers
- Financial Control: Manage funding calls, perform specific calculations according to funding conditions, and track the cash management of projects
- Partner Communication: Maintain relationships with public funding bodies and coordinate close internal collaboration with project managers, accounting, and other departments
- Audit Support: Prepare and accompany external audits to ensure project compliance
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics (at least Bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in controlling and many years of experience in finance
- Experience in digitalization or data management is advantageous
- Proficient use of SAP-FI (Finance) and Google Workspace
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Basic knowledge of project management
- Analytical thinking, independent working style, and strong communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
