At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will take on the role of Quality Inspector Manufacturing Processes, responsible for technical quality assurance in the manufacturing plant for wide-body aircraft. You ensure product quality through inspections during production and manage the non-conformance process.

Responsibilities


  • Quality assurance through technical inspections during aircraft manufacturing
  • Non-conformance management and release of components for further production processes
  • Non-Conformity Management: Creation, tracking, and closure of deviations and defect reports
  • Troubleshooting for problem resolution and analysis
  • Technical guidance for production staff and supervision of authorized inspection personnel
  • Training of new authorized inspectors and definition/acceptance of work samples
  • Practical Problem Solving (PPS) for analyzing and solving quality problems, including visualization


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or in a technical profession, at least at master craftsman level
  • Several years of professional experience in aircraft construction, as a helicopter mechanic, or in the aerospace industry
  • Several years of experience in quality assurance and mechanics
  • Proficient use of SAP and Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented way of working
  • High sense of responsibility, persuasiveness, and assertiveness
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
