Responsibilities

  • Ensuring trouble-free operation and optimizing utility systems within the technical infrastructure (including heating, water, and wastewater systems)
  • Project/sub-project management for new construction and renovation projects, including coordination of planning and execution in building construction and civil engineering
  • Advising and supporting production areas on complex renovation projects and acting as a technical contact for utility systems
  • Planning and initiating modernization measures for existing facilities
  • Developing and implementing maintenance and servicing concepts to ensure and improve system availability
  • Conducting feasibility studies and preparing project proposals and permit applications
  • Assisting with special tasks in the area of technical infrastructure and building services engineering


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in building services engineering or civil engineering with a focus on building services engineering / building services technology
  • Several years of professional experience in technologically comparable fields is desirable
  • Experience with complex building services systems
  • Experience in managing and executing complex projects is desirable
  • Process and methodological expertise as well as a solid understanding of business management contexts
  • Good knowledge of relevant regulations such as the Fee Schedule for Architects and Engineers, the Fee Schedule Committee, and building legislation
  • Good knowledge of SAP R/3 and Microsoft Office as well as relevant application programs
  • Advanced German and English (min. B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
  • Willingness to work both domestically and abroad
