For our client Lufthansa Technik AG, we are looking for a Engineer / Project Manager for Building Services Engineering at the Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel location. In this key role, you are responsible for the technical infrastructure – from optimizing utility systems to managing new construction and renovation projects. You combine technical expertise with economic thinking to ensure safe and trouble-free operations.

Responsibilities
- Plant Optimization: Optimize utility systems (heating, water, wastewater) in compliance with legal and economic requirements and ensure safe operation
- Project Management: Lead new construction and renovation projects across sites and coordinate all operational aspects and project participants
- Technical Consulting: Provide expert advice to production areas during complex renovation projects and act as a contact person for utility-related topics
- Modernization: Plan and initiate measures for existing plants, considering cost-effectiveness, deadlines, and quality
- Maintenance Concepts: Develop and implement concepts to improve plant availability
- Cost-Benefit Analyses: Conduct studies and create project orders and approval documents
Qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree (FH/TH/TU) in Utilities Engineering or Civil Engineering with a focus on Plant Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in technologically comparable fields desirable
- Experience in the field of complex utility systems and in managing complex projects
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., HOAI, AHO, building legislation) and business management contexts
- Good IT skills (SAP R/3, MS-Office, application software)
- Very good written and spoken English skills (at least B2)
- Willingness to work on assignments domestically and abroad and to undertake job-related further training
- Strong teamwork skills, confident demeanor, negotiation skills, and high resilience
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
