The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.05.2027. Responsibilities
- Mechanical design of detailed installations for systems, components, and subsystems such as electrical units, antennas, and piping
- 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation using CAD software CATIA V5 in accordance with internal and external standards
- Perform tolerance analyses and collision checks to ensure assemblability and functionality
- Create manufacturing and installation documentation including parts lists and enter data into IT systems
- Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration
- Support the verification and validation
- Process optimization
Qualifications
- Completed degree (at least Master's/Diploma) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Several years of professional experience in design, ideally with a focus on aircraft and the installation of equipment components
- Many years of experience in supervising parts manufacturing and installations as well as with rapid change procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of CAD software CATIA V5 and related model management tools such as VPM and Product Data Management (PDM)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Strong teamwork skills, good technical understanding, and a meticulous, goal-oriented working style
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
