Tasks
- Development and creation of system architecture for complex mechatronic and optronic products
- System breakdown into the disciplines of electronics, mechanics, software, and optics
- Support for the entire system across locations in an international environment
- Coordination of technical product development in an interdisciplinary team
- Implementation of requirements management and definition of the scope of development
- Definition and support of tests, including review, troubleshooting, and quality gate preparation
- Creation of technical quantity structures, bid support, and cost-performance evaluation
- Support of series production and optimization of engineering processes and tools (e.g., DOORS, ECM)
Qualifications
- Completed degree in physics, mechatronics, aerospace, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in the development of technical devices, systems engineering, requirements management, and ideally in a military environment
- Good knowledge of DOORS, Enterprise Architect, or comparable tools
- Confident use of Q tools for error analysis (e.g., 8D, A3, Six Sigma)
- Experience with development tools such as Creo or Pulsonix is an advantage
- Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes and experience in dealing with cooperation partners
- Good knowledge of SAP (material, document, and parts list management)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and advanced English (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
