We are currently looking for a 3D Scanning Measurement Technician Aviation for our client Airbus Aerostructures GmbH at their Hamburg Finkenwerder site. In this role, you will play a key role in the planning, analysis, and optimization of measurement processes – with a direct impact on the quality of aircraft production. Tasks

  • Defining measurement strategies and selecting suitable measurement systems
  • Processing 3D CAD models and programming measurement sequence control
  • Analyzing, evaluating, and visualizing measurement results, as well as determining causes of errors
  • Implementing corrective measures to eliminate systematic deviations
  • Collaborating with internal interfaces for quality assurance and process optimization

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, measurement technology or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of measurement technology and jigs & tools, as well as several years of experience in engineering
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing/production, quality management and geomatics or surveying
  • In-depth knowledge of the use of 3D coordinate measuring machines, 3D measuring methods, length measuring equipment, and laser measuring & scanning systems
  • Experience with Spatial Analyzer, Polyworks, or comparable surveying software and confident use of Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and advanced English (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work shifts (2 shifts)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
